Day 1: Hanoi – Xuan Giang – Quang Binh (L.D)
Today is an easy drive to Xuan Giang in Quang Binh, Xuan Giang is a Tay ethnic village. We are welcomed to a very friendly people and overnight at a beautiful house on stilts.
Day 2: Xuan Giang – Nam Hong (B.L.D)
After breakfast, ride from Quang Binh to Nam Hong village along the beautiful landscapes : palm hills, rural and ethnic villages, valleys and mountains. Arrival at Nam Hong village at noon, check in Hoang Su Phi Lodge and have lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon, walk around Nam Hong village, home of red Dao people to discover the culture and the daily life of these friendly people. Nam Hong village is one of the most charming and quite village in Hoang Su Phi district, an ideal destination for hiking and trekking. Dinner and overnight at Hoang Su Phi Lodge.
Day 3: Nam Hong – Ta Su Choong – Cao Bo (B.L.D)
Ride on a small road lined with scenic mountain and valleys views to Ta Su Choong, home of Nung ethnic group and have lunch at a local family. Then heading up to Cao Bo village at the foot of Tay Con Linh peak where we stop for the night at homestay of Dao.
Day 4 : Cao Bo – Ha Giang – Nam Dam (B.L.D)
We ride on small challenging mountain roads but incredibly beautiful and not touristy. We ride on the land of colourful mountain hill-tribes that offers us many opportunities to take beautiful pictures and to meet friendly people before joining the main road from Ha Giang to Nam Dam. Day 5 : Nam Dam – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B.L.D)
After breakfast, ride to Ha Giang along Dong Van Geological Park with incredibly beautiful landscapes. Lunch at a local restaurant and visit Dong Van ancient town. Continue to drive to Meo Vac along Ma Pi Leng Pass with cloudy mountain ranges, the poetic Nho Que river and mysterious ethnic villages. Ride on a rig-zag track until Meo Vac and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Meo Vac – Bao Lac (B.L.D)
After breakfast, ride from Meo Vac, a remote area where we see the hard-working local people on the rocks. You will ride on under construction road and tracks but the landscape is among the most beautiful of Vietnam. In Bao Lac, visit black Lo Lo to discover their typical culture and their authentic daily life. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Bao Lac – Cao Bang (B.L.D)
Ride to Cao Bang via a beautiful landscapes : mountains, valleys, bambous forest, terraced rice fields. Stopover on the way to take pictures and to meet local people. Arrival in Cao Bang, check in hotel and visit its central market. Overnight at a hotel..
Day 8 : Cao Bang – Quang Uyen (B.L.D) ~140 km, ~5 h
Ride to Ban Gioc waterfall, the biggest and the most awesome waterfalls in Vietnam. Then visit Nguom Ngao grotto before riding to Quay Son homestay. Walk around this beautiful area to meet friendly local people who are Tays ethnic group. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Day 9: Quang Uyen – Lang Son (B.L.D)
Ride from Quay Son homestay to Lang Son via the famous colonial historical Highway No 4. Visit the historical battle of Dong Khe and That Khe before reaching to Lang Son, the biggest border city with China. Then, visit Ky Lua or Dong Kinh market and overnight in Lang Son.
Day 10 : Lang Son – Hanoi (B.L)
After breakfast at hotel. Today is an easy day back to Hanoi on the new Highway 1B and arrival in Hanoi in early afternoon. End of our services.
