Day 1: Hanoi – Thac Ba lake (L.D)
Before starting this motorbike tour, we take few minutes to check the motorbike and ensure that we have all necessary tools and equipment to have a safe and enjoyable motorbike trip.
Then we ride out of Hanoi to visit Duong Lam ancient village and then head up the countryside to Thac Ba lake where we spend one night at homestay of White Dao ethnic group. Today the road is easy from Hanoi to Thac Ba lake.
Day 2: Thac Ba lake - Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel. We ride to Mu Cang Chai by one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Northest Vietnam : terraced rice fields, villages, mountains and passes such as Lung Lo and Khau Pha passes offering nices views over the valleys and mountains. Dinner and overnight at homestay of White Thais ethnic group.
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai - Than Uyen – Sapa (B.L.D)
Today we ride from Mu Cang Chai to Sapa via Than Uyen, home of flower Hmongs and Dzaos people and stopover on the way to take pictures. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then continue to Sapa via Tram Ton Pass offering a stunning views over the valleys and Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Arrival in Sapa, check in hotel and discover Ta Van and Lao Chai villages. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Sapa – Bac Ha (B.L.D)
After breakfast, we drive directly to Bac Ha and stop at Lao Cai, a border city with China, to take pictures. Then, ride up to Bac Ha via stunning landscape, check in hotel then walk at Ban Pho 1 and 2 villages, home of flower Hmong ethnic group, to discover their daily life and their culture. Overnighting at hotel in Bac Ha.
Day 5: Bac Ha – Xi Man – Nam Hong village (B.L.D)
After breakfast, ride from Bac Ha to Nam Hong village via Xi Man, Hoang Su Phi and Vinh Quang. Nam Hong village is a beautiful one situated on the side of the mountain and it is home of Red Daos people. Dinner and overnight at Hoang Su Phi Lodge.
Day 6: Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang – Nam Dam (B.L.D)
After breakfast, drive on the track to Nam Dam via Ha Giang by the main road heading up to Ha Giang where we have lunch at a local restaurant. Then you drive on many small and back roads with authentic ethnic villages, scenic mountain and valley views to Nam Dam village. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Day 7 : Nam Dam – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B.L.D)
After breakfast, we drive to Dong Van ancient town throught out Dong Van Geological Park and visit Dong Van ancient town, its anciens houses and its colonial market. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, ride in border areas and along Ma Pi Leng pass then stop for taking beautiful pictures and enjoy beautiful landscapes : Nho Que river, mountain range, ethnic village. We continue to ride on small challenging mountain roads via colourful mountain hill-tribes villages. Dinner and overnight in Meo Vac.
Day 8 : Meo Vac – Bao Lac (B.L.D)
Drive from Meo Vac to Bao Lac on a rig-zag track and under construction roads until Bao Lac. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, ride to Bao Lac and visit black lo lo ethnic group to discover their authentic culture and life. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Bao Lac.
Day 9 : Bao Lac – Cao Bang (B.L.D)
If today is Sunday, you can visit Bao Lac market that only takes place on Sunday morning. Then drive to Cao Bang with many stops on the way to take beautiful pictures an have lunch at local restaurant. Then, continue to ride to Cao Bang by the easy road until Cao Bang town, check in hotel and visit Cao Bang central market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Cao Bang – Quang Uyen – Ban Gioc Waterfall (B.L.D)
After breakfast, we ride to Ban Gioc waterfall, the biggest and the most impressive waterfall in Vietnam. This waterfall is located in the middle of a mountain cirque. Then drive back to Quang Uyen commune and check in to a homestay. Dinner and overnight at Quang Uyen.
Day 11: Quang Uyen – Ba Be lake (B.L.D)
Ride from Quang Uyen to Ba Be lake located at the middle of Ba Be national park. Ba Be lake is the biggest and the most beautiful lake on the mountain in Vietnam. Lunch at Pac Ngoi village and then, you enjoy a boat cruise on Ba Be lake to discover this impressive natural lake and Ba Be national park (you can swim if the temperature permit). Dinner and overnight at homestay of Tay ethnic group.
Day 12 : Ba Be – Na Khan (B.L.D)
If you did not have time to enjoy the boat cruise on Ba Be lake the day before, you can spend this morning to make a boat cruise on this lake. Lunch at the host family then drive to Na Khan village. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Jour 13 : Na Khan – Thai Nguyen – Hanoi (B.L)
Today is an easy day to drive back to Hanoi via Thai Nguyen. Arrival in Hanoi at the early afternoon and end of our services.
